David attended the former Job Development Center and Marshall Street School. He was a member of the Washington County Special Olympics for many years, participating in basketball, bowling, field hockey, swimming, and volleyball. He is preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Minnich's Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Robert "Bobby" Robinson will officiate. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 29th from 6-8pm. We are asking guests to wear their favorite sports team hat in honor of David's love for sports.

David's family would like to thank Hospice of Washington County, Service Coordinators Jimeca, Cali and Marj and the AERS Health Department of Washington County, especially Ruth and Lisa. These agencies demonstrated exemplary care and compassion for David and the family.
