David Lynn Squibb, 61, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born August 11, 1961 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Franklin David Squibb and the late Carolyn (Barklow) Squibb.

David worked as a drywall hanger for many years. He was a catholic and an altar boy at St. Mary's Catholic Church and attended school at St. Mary's.

David loved his family and animals. He enjoyed playing guitar and loved fishing, camping, boating, jet skiing, and going to the beach.

David is survived by his wife Sherry Squibb. They were married for 34 years but were together for 45 years. David is also survived by his sisters, Melanie Squibb (Thomas Griffin) and Robin Squibb (Gary Snyder); brothers, Franklin Squibb (Amy) and Michael Squibb; a special nephew, Michael Wayne, as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and his fur animals, Snuggles and Striper.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his niece, Natalie Squibb, and his fur animals, Chance, Cashmere, Midnight, and Buddy.

A visitation will be held from 10-11am on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. The funeral service will follow at 11am with Father Cibelli officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
