David "Dave" Dwight Kline, 70, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026. He was born on August 21, 1955 to the late Floyd R. Kline Sr. and Beatrice V. Ruby Kline.

Dave's hobbies and passions surrounded antique trucks, with a love for Mack trucks especially. He was a diesel mechanic for most of his life and not only founded, but owned and operated D&D Truck Repair and Towing for 35 years. He was highly respected in the towing and recovery industry and his wealth of knowledge and influence will leave a major void in our community. Additionally, Dave was a co-owner of the Jefferson Pub. He was a member of the Washington County Tractor Pullers Association, Towing & Recovery Professionals of Maryland, Towing & Recovery Association of America, the Williamsport Red Men Tribe #84, the Antique Truck Club of America, the American Truck Historical Society, and a member of The Alsatia Club of Hagerstown for fifty years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Duane Kline and Floyd "Puggy" R. Kline Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Kline, his children, David M. Kline, Melissa Betts, and Kerri Kline, his grandchildren, Daxton, Neil, and Barrett, his sisters, Melinda Valentine (Robert) and Susan Shirley (Gary), his sisters-in-law, Susan Weeks (Tracey) and Carol Kline, his brother-in-law, Ed Tasker (Teresa), as well as many beloved nieces and nephews, and many-many cherished friends.

Funeral services will be private.

Family and friends are encouraged to gather for a Celebration of Life in Dave's honor on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Williamsport Red Men Lodge Tribe #84, 16129 Lappans Road #4049, Williamsport, MD 21795.
