David Shawn Ardinger, 60, of Williamsport, MD, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

Born August 3, 1965, he was the son of late James Eugene and Nancy (Monn) Ardinger.

David served in the U.S. Army as a Ranger and was deployed to South America. He was an avid hunter who also enjoyed drawing and writing poetry.

He is survived by two sons, Christopher Ardinger of Mercersburg, PA and Nicolas Ardinger, serving in the US Army; two grandchildren; two sisters, Dawn Brooks (husband, Robert Wayne) of Linden, PA, and Cynthia Milgrim (husband, Jamie) of Charles Town, WV; and brother, Jim Ardinger (wife, Christina) of Williamsport, MD, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Winders.
