Darlene Eudora Linville, 71, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021. She was born on March 6, 1950 in Portsmouth, VA, she is the second of four children to the late Benjamin Theodore Linville and Jocelyn Eudora Miller Linville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Linville, and her two brothers, John Linville and Benjamin Jr. Darlene worked many jobs, in many places over the years. She was mainly a homemaker, and she often could be found helping or doing whatever she could for everyone around her. She loved playing card games, watching Blue Bloods, or any other crime shows for that matter, not to mention, the Hallmark channel. She especially loved doing crossword puzzles. However, she most enjoyed being a mom and grandmother to those who were very close to her. She is survived by her life partner, Stephen Miller of 32 years, her sister-in-law, Jenny Linville, her four children, Theresa Madden and her husband, Herbert, Steven Dickens and his wife, Sherilyn, Betty Ann Dickens, and Kimberly Dickens and her partner, Charles, all of her adopted children, her eight grandchildren, Dustin, Dylan and his wife, Tamara, Britni, Bonnie, Jasmine, Allison, Darlzen, and Edxandria, all of her adopted grandchildren, her five great-grandchildren, Brayden, Xander, Atreus, Christian, and Desmond, and her five nieces and nephews, Gwen, Michael, Shelly, Patrick, and Jeremy. Services will be private.
