Daniel "Dan" Peter Fitzpatrick, 73, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023.  Born April 16, 1950 in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Daniel and Kathleen (McGuire) Fitzpatrick.

After high school, Dan enlisted and served stateside in the United States Air Force as a member of the Military Police during the Vietnam War.  By trade, Dan was an electrician and ran his own company.

Dan loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. In his younger years, Dan played guitar with a few different bands. His greatest love was music, and he never missed the opportunity to attend a live music venue.

He leaves behind his brother, Peter from Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Mary, and brother-in-law Richard Kunert from Ringwood, NJ; nephews, Sean and wife, Jennifer from NJ, and Brian from NJ; nieces, Tracy and husband Tom from MA, and Kerry from NJ; grandniece, Aubrey and grandnephew, Rowan.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by the love of his life, Linda.

Private services will be scheduled at the convenience of the family.
