Daniel Garry Everitts, 85, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 11, 2026.

Born October 26, 1940 in Washington County, MD, he was the son of the late Daniel Henry and Rosanna Garry (Secrist) Everitts.

Daniel served with the 519th MI Battalion in the U. S. Army. He was a Vietnam veteran.

He worked at RM Pile and Sons in Cearfoss, MD and Grove Worldwide in Shady Grove, PA. Daniel was a life member of Funkstown American Legion Post 211 and the VFW.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Arlene (Burger) Everitts; a sister, Nancy Eichelberger, of Chambersburg, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews, including Debra Eichelberger, of Decatur, IN.

Daniel was preceded in death by one sister, C. LaRue Crane.

Graveside services will be 11am Monday. June 15, 2026, at Salem Reformed Church Cemetery, 13182 Salem Church Road, Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Brent Anderson will officiate.
