Daniel Christopher Dunsworth, 49, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

Born February 28, 1973 in Silver Spring, MD, he was the son of the late Frances Lynn (Atkinson) Cotton and Stepfather, John Cotton.

Daniel graduated with the class of 1991 from Smithsburg High School. He worked as a baker at Hadley Farms and was a diehard Redskins Fan.

He is survived by two sons, Ryan Dunsworth (wife, Adriana) and Tyler Orr; sister, Shelly Coursey (husband, Mike); brother, Joey Dunsworth; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on at 7pm on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740. Pastor Bill Divelbiss will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:30pm to 7pm prior to the service
