Dale Eldridge Conley, Sr., 78, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born December 27, 1944, in Hancock, MD, he was the son of the late John and Nettie (Breeden) Conley.

Dale was in the US Marines for four years. He worked as a police officer for the City of Hagerstown for 22 years and 4 months. He was a member of the FOP. He enjoyed fixing up and selling homes.

Dale is survived by his wife, Minnie Conley; one daughter, Sharie Wiesner and husband, Keith; one son, Dale Conley, Jr. and wife, Cindy; three grandchildren, Tara Peck, Dustin Conley, and Amanda Conley; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Conley Morris; two brothers, Steven Conley and wife, Faye, and Charles Conley and wife, Karen; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mamie Shifflett and Dorothy Frazier; and four brothers, Gordon Breeden, Stanley Conley, David Conley, and John Wayne Conley.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Jack Payne will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, from 6-8pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023.
