CYNTHIA ANNE BARNHART FRITZ, 50, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 in Hagerstown. Born July 27, 1958 in Richmond, Virginia, she was the daughter of Matilda Anne Hudgins Hawks of Hagerstown, and the late Howard H. Barnhart, Jr. She is survived by one daughter, Neysa D. Nguyen of Hagerstown; one son, Greg L. Dixon, Jr., and wife Gretta J., of Hagerstown; one sister, Mary E. Barnhart, and dearest friend, Stacia S. Roberts, of Williamsport, Maryland; one brother, C. Allen Shatzer, and wife Susan L., of Taneytown, Maryland; three grandchildren, Che I. Swayne, Ariel Dixon, and Dylan Dixon, all of Hagerstown; step-father, Albert D. Hawks, Sr. of Hagerstown; and her dear friend, Shaun Harris of Hagerstown. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Lewis A. Shatzer. She had a career as a registered nurse, and was very compassionate towards many. She will be missed dearly. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Saturday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Pastor Mark Chapman will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
