CYNTHIA (CINDI) L. QUINN, 65, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015 in Wilmington, DE. Born July 15, 1949 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Catherine (Greise) Shobe. Cindi graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1969. She went on to nursing school at the Church Home and Hospital, class of 1972, in Baltimore, MD. She was employed by the University of MD Medical Center for a number of years before her marriage and consequent move to Delaware. She enjoyed working in several medical facilities over the years. Nursing and painting in pastels and chalk were her immediate passions, but she also enjoyed traveling, good books, and movies. Cindi was preceded in death by her husband, William Quinn of Wilmington. She is survived by her son, William Quinn of Wilmington, a soon to be graduate of the Delaware State Fire School. He plans to pursue a career in firefighting. She is also survived by a brother, Robert E. Shobe of Clermont, FL; a sister, Sharon Trovinger of Frostburg, MD; a number of nieces and nephews located in Arizona, Florida, Virginia, and Hagerstown, MD; and a number of great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Cindi was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Jayne Smith of NJ. A Memorial Service will be held 11am Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. William Divelbiss will officiate.
