CURT BENJAMIN BANNON, 20, of 8331 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, MD died suddenly October 24, 2008 at his home. Born March 9, 1988 in Hagerstown he is the son of Gregory C. and Marsha A. Cantor Bannon. He graduated from Boonsboro High School in 2006. He attended Hagerstown Community College and Towson University. He enjoyed playing guitar and had an interest in music and the theater. Growing up, he was an avid skate boarder. Curt was a loving, caring, compassionate son and brother. As well as his parents he is survived by a sister, Emily Bannon of Boonsboro; and his maternal grandmother, Sylvia Cantor of Wilmington, NC.; several aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jacob Cantor and his paternal grandparents, Chester and Leora Bannon. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd with Dale D. Bannon, Jr., minister, officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD The family will receive friends Monday, 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
