CRAIG "CC" COLLINS MILLER, 73, of Hagerstown, MD passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center. Born, April 18, 1945 in Hagerstown, MD he was the son of the late Paul D. and Ann L. (Rogers) Miller. Craig was a 1963 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. He was a drummer in the Rebel Band. After graduation, Craig served in the U.S. Air Force. It was there that Craig started a career in the food management service industry. Also, while in the service he began another career interest of Disc Jockey. During his life, Craig worked at WARK and WYII. Craig worked for Fairchild and retired from the State of MD MCTC, where he implemented his food management skills. He was also a volunteer for the Hagerstown South End Fire Department and the Hagerstown Fire Police. Craig was a member of the AMVETS. He was also an avid Redskin Fan. Craigs other passion was driving! He drove for Rakestraws, MCTC, L&L Coach and WCPS. For many years he has driven for Atlantic Coast Charters. "He lived to drive". Craig is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie. They married December 27, 1981. He is also survived by one son, Joseph P. Miller of San Antonio, TX; a stepson, Donnie L. Kennedy and companion, Lisa of FL; two grandchildren and two step grandsons. His siblings are, Clodon Nash and husband Bob of Annapolis, MD; Alicia Miller and wife, Shawn Noel of Lewes, DE and Patrice Davis and husband, George of Hagerstown, MD. Craig is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt, Janice Miller Baker. He will be sadly missed by is sister-in-law, Connie Ferrera and her companion, Joe Keeney. In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by his wifes parents, Lillian and Dick Collyer. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Monday, August 13, 2018 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Chaplain Katherine L. Lippy will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Military graveside honors provided by Joint Veterans Council and Marine League of Hagerstown. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
