Craig Wayne Gregory, 66 of Hagerstown, MD passed away peacefully at Doey's House on Monday January 30, 2023. He was born September 17, 1956, in Hagerstown, MD.

He was the son to the late James William and Betty Lee (Owens) Gregory Sr.

He graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1974. He served in the United States Navy from May 1975 to April 1981. Then worked at MCTC where he retired after 20 years as a Lieutenant in 2003. On November 30, 1974, he married the love of his life Veronica where they welcomed three beautiful daughters into the world and spent the last 48 years happily married. Craig was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed traveling, computers, watching movies, going to his grandkids sporting events, and being with his family. He loved baseball and football and was a big Orioles and Redskins fan. He had the biggest heart and his laugh and smile lit up any room he was in. He was deeply loved and cared for by all his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Veronica Gregory, his daughter Trisha Gregory Carter and grandchildren Brittany Gregory and Fiancé Bryan Laferte, Abigail Carter and Caylee Carter, his daughter Amy Munson and grandchildren Noah Gregory Munson, Cierra Munson, Madalynn Munson and Liam Munson, his daughter Kimberly Hayes and her husband Christopher Hayes and grandchildren Alexis Hayes, Matthew Hayes and Andrew Hayes, and his great grandchild Kynslee Ringus. He is also survived by a countless amount of additional extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James William Gregory Sr, mother, Betty Lee (Owens) Gregory, brother, James William Gregory Jr, and sister, Linda Lee Mowen.

A viewing service for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 4th, 2023, from 6-8 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD 21740 with a celebration of life to follow at a later date.
