CORA ISABELLE SNOWBERGER, 88, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center. Born June 25, 1925 in Maugansville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Preston Miller Kendle, Sr. and Martha Belle Stine Kendle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil A. Snowberger. She was previously employed with Hagerstown Rubber Company and Hagerstown Leather Company. She was a life-long member of Salem Reformed Church. She was a former member of Williamsport Red Men, Conococheague Tribe #84. She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Y. Snowberger of Hagerstown, Theresa G. Swope and husband Jeff of Hagerstown and Angela D. Snowberger and Lloyd Shipley of Hagerstown; two sons, Gregory L. Snowberger and Dennis A. Snowberger, both of Hagerstown; two sisters, Doris Roberts and JoAnn Brining, both of Hagerstown; three brothers, Ralph Kendle of Boonsboro, Md., Preston Kendle, Jr. of Hagerstown and Leon Kendle of Boonsboro, Md.; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Myers and four brothers, Harry Kendle, Donald Kendle, Bob Kendle and Richard Kendle. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Steve Wagoner will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, Maryland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The family is grateful to Coffman Nursing Home for the love and excellent care given to Cora.
