Connie Darlene Sweeney, 58, of Keedysville, MD, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center. Born January 30, 1959 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Pauline (Breeden) Sweeney. Connie is survived by fianc, Freddie Welsh; mother-in-law, Harriett Welsh of Boonsboro; two brothers, William F. Nicewarner of Hagerstown, and Edward H. Sweeney of Falling Waters, WV; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet dog, Zowie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Knode. Graveside services will be held 1pm Monday, February 27, 2017 at Boonsboro Cemetery. Chaplain Eileen Flenner will officiate. Arrangements made by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E.
