Connie Mae (Brewer) Shifflett, 86, of Hagerstown, MD, entered the kingdom of Heaven, Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Born May 7, 1937 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Brewer, Jr. and Hazel Virginia (Carpenter) Brewer.

Connie was a 1955 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She was a lifetime wife, mother, housewife and dedicated disciple in her faith. She was a long-standing member of Salem Reformed Church where she participated in many committees such as Sunday School Teacher, Kitchen Assistant, Bible School Director, Sunday School Treasurer and wherever else assistance was needed. Connie was a part of Campus Life and attended Women's Aglow. She was not only a wife, mother, and grandmother, but was considered an outstanding mentor to many not only from the Church but whoever passed her way in life.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Earmon Lee Shifflett, Jr.; one daughter, Debra Kay Hansen (Dwight); one son, Dennis Lee Shifflett (Aletta/Smiley); one brother, Thomas Lee Brewer (Carolyn); seven grandchildren, Nicole Shifflett (John), Adam Shifflett (Niki), Eric Johns (Hollie), April Hennessy (Sean), Ashley Ritchie (Jonathan), Nikki Boyd (Zach), and Shelley Jones; ten great grandchildren, Cienna, Camden, Emmy, Caspian, Eli, Malian, Zoe, Zander, Halie, and Paislie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Karen Diane (Hayes) Shifflett.

Services will be held 11am Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Salem Reformed Church, 13182 Salem Church Rd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Eric D. Cox, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Reformed Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to services at the church.
