CONNIE MARIE MARTIN, 76, of 22108 Holiday Drive, Smithsburg, Maryland, died Sunday, April 30, 2006 at the Washington County Hospital. Born January 23, 1930 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Floyd C. and Helen Wade Main. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Sherman Taylor. She retired was Pangborn Corporation. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Smithsburg, Maryland. She is survived by her second husband, Lawrence L "Peck" Martin; one son, Gregory L. Taylor of Hagerstown, Maryland; one sister, Shirley Smith of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by one brother, Palmer Taylor. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Gerry Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior the services.
