Colby P Lushbaugh, 63, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at his home.

Born March 31, 1962 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late George W. Lushbaugh, Jr. and Phyllis "Babe" (Pickett) Lushbaugh.

Colby was a 1980 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. He devoted 24 years of service to City Hall as a maintenance worker. The Beatles were his greatest musical love, a passion he carried throughout his life. He was also an avid fan of Dark Shadows.

He is survived by his sister, Deeann Valentine (Rick); his brothers, Michael Lushbaugh (Garry Mackenzie) and George Lushbaugh (Patty); his nieces, Kate Valentine, Megan Embly (Jason), Sarah Lushbaugh, and April Lushbaugh; and his great-nephew, Wyatt Embly.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, Md., with Pastor Bill Divelbiss officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again on Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service.
