CLYDE ROY "JIM" HOSE, 89 of Hagerstown, MD passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at Fahrney Keedy Nursing Home in Boonsboro, MD. Born September 26, 1925 in Pectonville, MD, he was the son the late George Abraham and Viola May Reed Hose. Jim retired from CSX Western MD Railroad with forty-four years of service. He was a life time member of the VFW, Hagerstown, MD, Amvets, Hagerstown, MD and the Funkstown Moose Lodge, Funkstown, MD. Jim was also a member of the Redmen Club, Williamsport, MD. Jim is survived by two step-daughters; Linda Huntzberry of Hagerstown, MD and Nancy L. Sites of Mercersburg, PA; one step-son, Robert L. Wagner of Alabama; one sister, Ruth Davis of Tennessee; one daughter-in law, Sherry Wagner of Hagerstown, MD and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn E. Wagner Hose who passed away August 12, 1981; three sisters, Mary Hornbarger, Carrie Harman and Jane Canon; three brothers, George Hose, John Hose and Charles Hose; three step-children, John R. Wagner, Donna Anderson and Mary Mae Raines. Graveside services will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park at 10am on Friday September 18, 2015. Pastor Joy E. Zepp will officiate. Military honors will be held by the Marine Corp. League of Hagerstown, MD and Joint Veterans Council of Washington County. There will be no viewing.
