Clifford Robert Lewis, 82, of Hagerstown, MD, went to be with the Lord, Friday, February 2, 2024, at his home.

Born May 7, 1941, in Perkasie, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Mabel (Boyer) Lewis.

Clifford served with the Seebees in the U. S. Navy and was also a veteran of the U. S. Army.

He was an aircraft mechanic and employed as a truck driver with several companies for 34 years.  Clifford was a longtime member of Evangel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Gerber) Lewis; two sons, Kevin Marshall Lewis, and wife, Laura, and Brian Mitchel Lewis, and wife, Corinna; one brother, Wilmer Lewis, and wife, Jean; and seven grandchildren, Lily Lewis, Bailey Lewis, Bristol Lewis, Ezra Lewis, Nikolas Lewis, Riley Staub, and John Staub, Jr., and wife, Raven.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Norman Lewis.

Funeral services will be held 7 pm Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Evangel Baptist Church, 17922 Broadfording Rd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Ronald K. Faith will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Evangel Baptist Church.
