Obituary

CLARENCE ALBERT (TEENY) WIDDOWS, 90, of 6125 Snow Hill Road, Snow Hill, Maryland, died on Sunday, June 26, 2005 at the Snow Hill Nursing Home. Born July 7, 1914 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Roy F. and Katherine Ridenour Widdows. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lee Widdows in 1990. He served in the U. S. Army with the 29th Division. He was employed with Marquette Cement, retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church. He was a member of the V. F. W. Post 1936, the American Legion, Morris Frock Post 42, the North American Rod & Gun Club, the Western Maryland Sportsman's Club, and the 29th Division Association. He is survived by three sons, Jack L. Widdows of Southhaven, Mississippi, William E. Widdows of Snow Hill, Maryland, and Cecil A. Widdows of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania; and six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Thursday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. The Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p. m.
