Obituary

Clarence W. "Butch" Stottlemyer, Jr., born on October 9, 1946, passed away July 11, 2025 at Williamsport Nursing Home after a long battle with dementia.

Butch was born and raised in Washington County, MD to the late Clarence W. Stottlemyer, Sr. and Flo E. (Ahalt) Stottlemyer. He was also predeceased by his brother, Leonard "Bob" Stottlemyer (Gloria).

Butch is survived by his wife of 60 years, Faye (Kemp) Stottlemyer; his son, Mark Stottlemyer; daughters, Suzanne Stottlemyer (Rick) and Penny Capezuto (Tony); his grandchildren, Kelsey Kennedy (Kyle) and Travis Capezuto; and great-grandson, Colson Kennedy. He is also survived by his siblings, John Stottlemyer, Jackie Stottlemyer-Vollmar, and Sandy Snyder (Mark).

Butch was a hard worker, always providing for his family. He retired from Alcoa (Eastalco) in Frederick after 42 years.

He had a great love for all music, but especially classic rock. He took his kids to their 1st concerts and passed down his passion for music.
