Clarence Albert Flook, 95, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Julia Manor Health Care Center. Born at home on January 13,1925 in Myersville, MD, he was the son of the late Ezra D. and Rosa G. (Hoffman) Flook. He was a member of Boonsboro Family Worship Center. He was a farmer form 1945-1963. Then he worked for his brother, Carroll Flook in dry wall from 1963 - 1982. He worked for Callas Construction from 1982 - 1987, and also helped Donald Easterday at Ostertag Vistas. He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Elsie E. (Griffith) Flook; four daughters, Juanita E. Cline (Husband, Eddie), Patsy A. Kline (Husband, Dean), Rebecca J. Mills (Husband Lloyd) and Esther A. Schroyer (Husband, David); two sons, Clarence D. Flook (wife, Debra) and Daniel W. Flook; 13 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Leon and Richard Flook; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by two children; four sisters, Mary Faulders, Minnie Routzahn, Anna Mae Stottlemyer, and Rachel Trail; and three brothers, Carroll, J. Edwin, and Ezra Flook Jr. The funeral service will be held 9:30am on Friday November 20, 2020, with Pastor Jeff Summers officiating, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6pm on Thursday, November 19, 2020. You may also come to the funeral home from 9am-4pm to pay your respects. Due to state mandate, masks must be worn to enter the building.
