CLARENCE ALBERT (AL) CRAWFORD, 75, of 17311 Amber Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at the Washington County Hospital. Born March 20, 1931 in Williamsport, Maryland, he was the son of the late Clarence E. Crawford and Edith Gossard Gaylor. He was a 1949 graduate of Williamsport High School. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U. S. Marines. He was employed with Mack Truck for thirty years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Washington Square United Methodist Church. He was a member of the American Legion, Williamsport Post 202, and the B.P.O.Elks 378. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Betty J. Crawford; one daughter, Debbie Jones and husband Bob of Williamsport, Maryland; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Jones of Williamsport. He was preceded in death by one sister, Catherine Degarmo. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Tuesday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Dennis L. Upton and Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8:00 p. m.
