Obituary

CLARA LUANA RIDENOUR BUSSARD, 79, of Maugansville, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at her home. She was born November 5, 1932 to the late H. Paul Ridenour and the late Ruth C. Kendle Ridenour. She attended schools at Winter Street and West Washington Street. She was working at the Salvation Army for many years, until she retired. Previously, she was employed by Fahrney-Keedy Nursing Home, and Brandt Cabinet Works, Inc. for eighteen years. She was married to the late Warren R. (Dick) Bussard. She is survived by two daughters, Rose M. Williams of Hagerstown, and Wendy W. Churchey, and her husband, Paul, of Maugansville, whom she resided with; three sons, Robert M. Williams, and his wife, Sue, of Manassas, Virginia, John D. Bussard, and his wife, Traci, of Cheaspeake, Virginia, and Gary Jordon of Hagerstown, Maryland; eleven grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara L. Little, and husband, Fran, of Williamsport, Maryland, Sylvia R. Hager (her husband was the late, Harry Hager), of Cearfoss, Maryland, and Claudia M. Crumbling of North Carolina; and two brothers, Rusty R. Ridenour of Kentucky, and Darby A. Ridenour, and wife Joleen, of Bunker Hill, West Virginia; and her companion Kane. She was preceded in death by a son (twin) at birth, a son-in-law, Gary W. Grubb, Sr., a daughter, Ruth Ann Grubb, and a grandson, Demond L. Williams, Sr. There will be no viewing. A graveside service will be held at Quantico National Cemtery in Quantico, Virginia. John D. Bussard will officiate. The family suggests memorial contributions in their mother's name, Luana Bussard, to Salvation Army, 534 West Franklin Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 2l740, or Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland 21742.
