CHRISTOPHER SHANNON MICHAEL, 32, of Hagerstown, MD passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at his home. Born in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Leslie Shannon Michael III and Judith A. Cree and step-father Randall J. Cree. Christopher was a graduate of the class of "2000" North Hagerstown High School. He was a gifted Soccer Player and Lacrosse Player. Christopher loved art and music. In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by two sisters, Kelly Michael and companion Christopher Rose of Hagerstown, MD and Jamie Michael Boryk and husband John T. Boryk of Hagerstown, MD; two nephews, Caden M. Rose and Benjamin T. Boryk, maternal grandparents, Arthur and Barbara Shearer, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD; paternal grandfather, Leslie Shannon Michael Jr.and step-grandmother Joyce Michael of Hagerstown, MD; "very close friend" Amberlea Hiser of Hagerstown, MD; seven aunts, Laura Melville, Sharon Nutter , Elizabeth Shearer, Cherie Michael, Stacy Michael, Teresa Shubert all of Hagerstown, MD and Lisa Lindman of FL; two uncles, Donald Kelbaugh Jr. , Falling Waters, WV and Jody Kelbaugh of Hagerstown, MD. Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Joyce Kelbaugh; one uncle, Todd Michael; one aunt, Jaimie Michael and one great uncle, Kenneth Michael. Services will be held at 11 am, Friday, November 20, 2015 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Robert McIntyre will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, in Hagerstown, MD. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Minnich Funeral Home.
