Christopher Reed
Blevins
Aug 1, 1971 — Sep 20, 2023
Christopher Reed Blevins, of Hancock, Maryland, passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 52. His battle with kidney disease in recent years showed his courage in facing life's challenges. Chris stayed strong for his family until the end.
Chris met his true love, Mary, in 2004, and they forged a meaningful life surrounded by family and friends. Together, they had two children: Lily and Wyatt.
Besides his family, he had many interests, including food, music, D & D, history, baseball, and football. He passed on many of these loves to his pride and joy…Wyatt. Chris taught him to play the guitar and enjoyed listening to him practice in the evenings. Eventually, Wyatt surpassed his father's skill. Chris also had a fun sense-of-humor and told all types of jokes that brought people to tears with laughter. He was a member of Crossroads Church in State Line, Pennsylvania.
He will always be remembered as a devoted husband and a proud father. Chris will be deeply missed by many.
Christopher was preceded in death by his daughter, Lily Christine Blevins, and his father-in-law, Bob Rohrer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lewellyn (Bradley) Blevins; his son, Wyatt Christopher Blevins; his parents, Carl Reed Blevins and Paula Renee (Cushatt) Blevins; his sister, Kimberly Schelebo and her husband, Joe; his brother, Patrick Blevins and his wife, Karen; his cousins, Susann Whitehurst and Michelle Wilder; his mother-in-law, Gay Rohrer; his father-in-law, Ralph Bradley Jr.; and many beloved in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
