Christine McLaughlin, 78, of Hagerstown, MD, formerly of Elkins, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022. She was born on May 25, 1944 to the late Ray Ritter and Rachel Duncan Ritter.

Christine was a former member of First Baptist Church, a longtime member of Landmark Baptist Church, and a member of The Order of the Easter Star, all in Elkins, WV. She worked for 30 years at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nelson McLaughlin, and her brother, Willie Ritter.

She is survived by her children, Lora Figgins and Bryan McLaughlin, her grandchildren, Faith Figgins, Amber Gardner, Kaitlin McLaughlin, and Jessica McLaughlin, her great-grandchildren, Aiden Taylor, Ellie Taylor, Brayden Gardner, and Connor Gardner, her brothers, Gary Ritter and Harold Ritter, her sisters, Kathleen Wilson and Linda Shields, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
