Christina Suzanne (Rodeffer) Thatcher, 69, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021. Known as Tina to her family and Chris to her friends, she was the daughter of the late Paul William Rodeffer and Lois Marie (Stouffer) Rodeffer. She was a 1970 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and the Washington County Vocational Technical School earning her nursing degree. She retired from nursing in 2017. She had a love for Civil War Reenactments and participated in them at local battlefields (2000-2005). She also was a big sports fan, and her love of sports was something she shared with her late father. Her favorite teams were the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Indians, and the Washington Capitals. She is survived by her mother, Lois Marie (Stouffer) Rodeffer; her son, Jason William Thatcher, both of Hagerstown; and her beloved cat, Misha. The family will receive friends from 2pm to 3pm on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. A Celebration of Life will begin at 3pm with the Rev. Ron Schlak of St. Mark's Lutheran Church officiating.
