Christie Lou Wallizer, 64, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Doey's House surrounded by her family.

Born January 14, 1960, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Granville and Mary Paulette (Haines) Moreland.

Christie had an appreciation for art and enjoyed making crafts. She was an animal lover and adored her two dogs, Penny and Precious.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy Rickett; her daughter, Sabrina Morningstar; two grandchildren, Devin and Trey Morningstar; two sisters, Pamela Jenkins and husband, Larry, and Kimberly Welch; two brothers, William and Clayton Moreland; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
