CHRISTIAN ANDREW COX, born February 25, 2014 in Frederick, MD, to parents Roderick and Lori Jenkins Cox, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore MD. Christian was a fighter from the day he was born. He touched the lives of all those who knew him, or knew of him. He taught everyone something: How to love, how to think on their feet, how to expect the unexpected, and how to pray. Christian is survived by his parents, Roderick Alan Cox II and Lori Ann Jenkins Cox; his paternal grandparents, Rod and Carol Cox of Galax, Virginia; maternal grandparents, John and Elizabeth Jenkins of Hagerstown; one sister, Adriana Cox; one brother Rylan Cox; one aunt, Susan Jenkins of Hagerstown, two uncles, Bradley Cox and Anthony Cox both of New York, New York. Services will be held Friday, November 7, at 11:00 am at St. John's Episcopal Church, 101 S. Prospect St. Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Ann Boyd will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery. A reception will be held after the service at St. John's Episcopal Church in Trimble Hall. Family will receive friends Thursday, from 3:00-5:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Hagerstown, Md.
