Christena Joy Morris, 66, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Thursday, January 05, 2023, at her home.

Born August 24, 1956 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Ella Mae (Toms) Gross.

Christena's life revolved around her family and her arts. She touched the lives of many as a talented seamstress, quilter, and as an accomplished commissioned artist. Her artwork adorns many local homes and businesses.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory L. Morris; her daughter, Shannon Burker; two beloved grandchildren, Grace Burker and Jackson Burker; and one sister, Kathy Snyder.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life in the spring.
