CHRIS EUGENE JONES, 48, of 18027 Tilghmanton Road, Fairplay, Maryland, died on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at his home. Born March 26, 1959 in Washington County, Maryland, he was the son of Connie Jean Hurd Jones Wolinski of Hagerstown, and the late William Jennings Jones. He was a painter. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Chad William Jones of Williamsport, Maryland; three sisters, Cindy Jean Jones, and Karen Kristine Martin, both of Hagerstown, and Lisa Irene Myers of Downsville, Maryland; two brothers, John Henry Jones of Boonsboro, Maryland, and Brett Wade Jones of Sharpsburg, Maryland; companion, Linda Livering of Fairplay and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Friday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Pastor Joe Tweed will officiate. Burial will be in Manor Cemetery in Tilghmanton, Maryland.
