CHARLES WILLIAM SELBY, JR., 61, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away December 27, at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. Born October 18, 1946 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Charles William Selby, Sr. and Alta Myrie Repp Selby. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He worked for Western Maryland Railroad, and was currently employed by Allegheny Glass and Mirror Service. He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Marie Selby of Hagerstown, and Shannon Nicole Mills, and husband, Ernie, of Norfolk, Virginia; two sons, Charles William Selby, III and Brian Joseph Selby, both of Hagerstown; one sister, Judith Ann Selby Faulders of Hagerstown; one brother Michael David Selby of Hagerstown; and eight grandsons. He graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1965. He was a member of Williamsport Red Men Lodge No. 84, and President of the Washington County Club Association. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Monday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Jerry Lowans will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
