Obituary

CHARLES JUNIOR (MICK) MCLUCAS, 78, of 205 Rock Willow Avenue, Born July 28, 1928 in Shanktown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Kathryn D. Kaylor McLucas. He was employed with Jamison Door Company for forty years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, and the Friendship Men's Class. He was a member of Jamison 30 Year Club, and the West End Senior Citizens. He coached West End Little League Baseball, and Hagerstown Junior Basketball League. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Joann McLucas; one daughter, Jo Ellen McLucas of Hagerstown; two sons, Steven O. McLucas, and wife, Glenda, of Myersville, Maryland, and Gregory A. McLucas, and wife Denise, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; one sister, Harriet Ankeney of Hagerstown; two grandsons, Brian Charles McLucas, and wife, Jennifer, of Hagerstown, and Joshua Tyler McLucas of Quincy, Pennsylvania; also, very special cousins, numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Friday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Clark D. Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p. m. Memorial donations may be made to Grace United Methodist Church Elevator Fund or Endowment Fund, 712 Church Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
