CHARLES A. (JACK) KIBLER, 85, of 1041 Benjamin Place, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Friday, March 07, 2008 at the Washington County Hospital. Born April 7, 1922 in Duffield, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Amos Kibler, Sr. and Sophia Derr Kibler. He was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater. He was formerly employed with Holzapfel & Fiery Appliances, was a car salesman with Hoffman Chevrolet and Hamilton Pontiac, was the owner of Hayloft Tavern, and was a salesman at Ingram's Men's Shop. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post, 1936, B.P.O.Elks 378, American Legion, Morris Frock Post 42, Amvets Post 10, and Eagles of Hagerstown. He is survived by two daughters, D. Jacqueline Walston of Smithsburg, Maryland, and Teresa Tritsch and husband, Mike of Hagerstown; one son, Keith A. Kibler and wife, Sherry of Hagerstown; six grandchildren, Amy Davis, Tami Pinzone, Lynde Senuta, Rusty Tritsch, Matthew Kibler, and Kelly-Jo Kibler; eight great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Lorraine Fishack of Hagerstown. He was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Eves. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Don Conley will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be conducted by the American Legion, Morris Frock Post 42. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 7 to 9 p. m.
