CHARLES ALBERT JACKSON, 93, of Hagerstown, went home to be with the Lord and his beloved wife, Wilma, on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 while at Ravenwood Nursing Home. Born July 26, 1921 in Washington, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Elwood C. and Ella DeHart Jackson. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting, he was a perfectionist with his woodworking. Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Willma Jackson who passed away March 19, 2008. Charles is survived by two daughters, Nancy James of Hagerstown and Patty Renner of Smithsburg; one son, Charles E. Jackson of West Berk VT.; five grandchildren, Heather Lopez of Boonsboro, Travis Renner of Smithsburg, Kara Kadamas of St. Johnsberry, VT., Cooper and Tanner Jackson of Cody, WY.; six great grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, Kherington, Colton, Kurt and Brooke. In addition to his wife and parents Charles is preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard Jackson and Richard T. Jackson. Friends are welcome at the Graveside service which will be held Monday, May 18, 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S. Potomac St. Hagerstown, MD 21740. Rev. L. Patrick Ricker will officiate. In lieu of flowers a memorial donations may be made to John Wesley United Methodist Church, 129 N. Potomac St. Hagerstown, MD. 21742.
