Charles William "Chuck" Greene of Keedysville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024, at Williamsport Retirement Village at the age of 82. Born on November 8, 1941, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Charles and Daisy (Rodell) Greene.

Chuck attended North Union High School in Uniontown where he was a distinguished member of the marching band. After graduating as Salutatorian, he served in the United States Air Force and rose to Airman First Class. Upon his honorable discharge, Chuck embarked on a long career with C&P Telephone Company as a Systems Technician.

Chuck leaves behind his wife, Florence (Betchy) Greene, his brother, Daniel Greene, his daughter, Cynthia Trujillo, his son, Charles Robert Greene, his granddaughters, Casandra Townsend, Samantha Trujillo, and Larissa Trujillo, and his great granddaughters, Bailee Townsend and Briella Dodson.

Chuck was a fan of oldies and big band music. He loved westerns, classic TV shows, and musicals. He also enjoyed word puzzles and building model airplanes.

Chuck's absence will be deeply felt. As we say farewell to Charles William Greene, we celebrate the legacy he has left behind. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

In accordance with Chuck's life and values, his family will gather in a private ceremony to honor his memory. They wish to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this time of loss.
