Charles "Chuck" Franklin Smith Jr., 62, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023. He was born on August 16, 1960 to Charles Franklin Smith and Vera Whitmore Smith.

Chuck was a diehard Redskins fan, and enjoyed trips to the beach and crabbing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Franklin Smith, and his daughter, Autumn Dawn Smith.

Chuck is survived by his mother, Vera Whitmore Smith, his loving wife, Joann Smith, his daughter, Brehann Smith, his sister, Justina Simcox and her husband, Kenneth, his brother, Robert Smith and his wife, Rhonda, and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11:00am at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
