CHARLES ELLSWORTH CARBAUGH, SR., 82, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Monday, November 18, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center. Born April 24, 1931 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Clarence and Margaret Long Carbaugh. He was previously employed with Serv-U-Vending in Hagerstown as a supervisor. Charles is survived two sisters, Vivian Robson and Arvilla Harper; eleven grandchildren, Lisa Leisher, Donald Smith, Sherry Kellick, Clarence Carbaugh, Jr., Charles Carbaugh, III, Ami Carbaugh, Nikki Carbaugh, Jill Carbaugh, Chris Carbaugh, Jeremiah Carbaugh and Roxi Carbaugh; three step-grandchildren, Brittany McKenna, Brianna Carbaugh, Bandon Carbaugh; thirty-two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Lee Carbaugh; one daughter, Sandy Bowles; three sons, Charles Carbaugh, Jr. Clarence Carbaugh, Sr. and Merle Carbaugh; two sisters, Delores Perrott and Patsy Stover. Graveside services will be Saturday 11:30 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Pastor Jason Lattin will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
