Charlene Lorraine McNemar, 69, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Canterbury Center in Shepherdstown, WV.

Born November 14, 1956, in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of Rita (Keefer) Johns and the late Nick Johns.

She was employed at Merkle Response Management, and previously worked at Citi Corp for 22 years.

Charlene is survived by two sons, James M. McNemar (wife, Billi) and Mitchell A. McNemar (wife, Tiffany); six grandchildren, Elizabeth McNemar, Lauren McNemar, Ella McNemar, Izaac McNemar, Aiden Burcker, and Ashton Burcker; two great grandchildren, Savannah Everts and Nichole Everts; one sister, Carrie Boyer; two brothers, Leon Johns (wife, Pam) and Carl Johns (wife, Tracy).

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Alfred McNemar and sister, Cindy Shoop.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
