CATHERINE MARIE NOKES, 79, of 415 Carrollton Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at her home. Born August 23, 1929 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Nicholson Stevenson. She is survived by one son, Richard Nokes, and wife, of Hagerstown; two brothers, Thomas Stevenson, Sr., and wife, of Hagerstown, and James A. Stevenson, and Lucy, of Florida; grandchildren, Annette Cook, Victoria Nokes, Terri Horton, and husband, all of Hagerstown; step-grandchildren, Stefanie Nelson, and husband, Tiffany Randolph, and husband, all of Hagerstown; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Brian, Aaron, Xavier, Brianna, Kathy, Sean and Jada, all of Hagerstown; step-great-grandchildren, Justin, Tarryn, Tierra, Jeremy, Glenn, Jordan, and Joshua, all of Hagerstown; niece Kathy; and nephew, T. J. Stevenson and Ronald Stevenson, all of Hagerstown. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Monday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 to 8 p. m.
