Catherine Evelyn (Simons) Fox, 90, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at Cadia Healthcare.  Born March 14, 1933 in Front Royal, VA, she was the daughter of the late Sarah (North) and Robert N. Thompson.

She was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Funkstown. She loved camping and a good game of Bingo.

Catherine is survived by her grandson, Aaron Simons; granddaughter-in-law, Angela Simons); and two great grandchildren, Avery Simons and Makenzie Simons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Monroe Simons; her second husband, Willis Fox; son, Patrick L. Simons; and 12 brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 127 Britner Avenue, Williamsport, MD.
