Catalina Santiago went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2022 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Puerto Rico.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cresencia Figueroa; her father, Serveriano Rivera; her sister, Carmen Rivera and her husband, Pablo F. Santiago.

Catalina has seven children, Maria (Margie) McCann, Pablo Santiago, Yolanda Fulton, Wilma Santiago Morales, Magdalena Santiago, Richard (Peachie) Santiago, and Marisol (Mari) Roche Santiago. She has 24 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by a sister, Merin Rivera-Carattini and two brothers, Nick Rivera and Genaro Rivera, of Puerto Rico.

Catalina's youngest daughter, Marisol, was the first Hispanic baby born in Washington County, in which her family was the first Hispanic family in Hagerstown, MD. She was of the Catholic faith and loved God. She will be missed.

The funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Allen Styles will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
