CASEY ALICIA WHITTINGTON, 37, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at Meritus Medical Center. Born May 12, 1977 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Michael and Patricia Waugh, Sr. Casey attended Williamsport High School and Kaplan University. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shawn Michael Whittington, who passed away September 30, 2013. Casey is survived by her parents; four daughters, Madison Whittington and husband, Billy Owens, Grace Whittington, Willow Whittington, and Sage Whittington; two brothers, Michael Waugh, Jr. and Jason Waugh; and maternal grandmother, Ellen Mullenix, all of Hagerstown. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Cheryl Ann Waugh; maternal grandfather, Curtis Mullenix; and paternal grandparents, Charles Waugh and Viola Waugh. A Memorial Service will be held 7pm, Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Daniel J. Pritchett will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
