Casey Jon Mueller, 46, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Meritus Medical Center. Born on November 25, 1977, in Henderson, NV, he was a cherished member of his community and a beloved figure among friends and family.
Casey served honorably as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army with the 64th Military Police Co, dedicating years of his life to the service of his country. His commitment to duty reflected his personal motto, "Always do the right thing, even when no one is looking," a principle he upheld both in and out of uniform.
Beyond his military service, Casey had a passion for collecting Hot Wheels, amassing a collection of over 400 pieces. He also had a love for riding his Harley Davidson and was keen on mechanical work, often found spinning wrenches and sharing his knowledge with his son, Adam.
Casey was a man who never met a stranger. He could strike up a conversation and make friends with anyone. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand, embodying the spirit of community and generosity.
He is survived by his wife, Jena Mueller; son, Adam Wilkins; father, Chris J Mueller; sister, Kate Kolbay; cousin, Alexa Hudson; and his best friend, Jake Stringfellow, along with friends Amanda McCauslin Leach and Carey Ewan.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David C Holton Jr., his uncle, David Holton III, and his friend, SSG James "Jimmy" Ide.
Casey's life was a testament to his robust character and his relentless pursuit of helping others. His legacy of kindness, bravery, and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.
