CARRIE MAE NELSON, 94, formerly of Funkstown, Maryland, a resident of 240 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, Maryland , died on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at Holly Place North. Born November 28, 1910 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Ida A. Fritz Lehr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Nelson in 1944. She was employed at Potomac Diner from 1952 until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church. She is survived by one sister, Alma Coyle of Allentown, Pennsylvania; also by her caregivers, Anne E. Cox of Hagerstown and the staff at Holly Place. She was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Bergenstock; a brother, Ralph Lehr. Services will be at l: 00 p.m. Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Dean Pryor will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
