CAROLYN LEE SMITH, 65, of 300 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital. Born January 23, 1942 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Myrtle A. Benson Smith. She was a 1960 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School. She was retired from Washington County Hospital. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was a member of A.A.R.P. She enjoyed animals and basketball. She is survived by two brothers, John Smith and Richard Smith both of Hagerstown, MD; a close friend, Nancy Leasure of Hagerstown, MD. She was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Davis; two brothers, William Smith and Wayne Smith. She was cremated. Memorial services will be announced later. The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church, 1525 Oak Hill Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland 21742.
