(CAROLYN) SUE SCHLOSSNAGLE, 69, of Williamsport, MD, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Sue was born on July 12, 1945, in Charlottesville, Va. Her parents were Evalene Shifflett and John Roach (both deceased). She resided in Orange County, VA until 15 when her family moved to Harrisonburg, VA. She was a 1963 graduate of Turner Ashby High School. She has lived in Washington, County, MD for the past 35 years. Sue was employed by a CPA firm and at Rockingham District Court in Harrisonburg, VA. She worked various part-time jobs in Hagerstown, MD before being employed by the Washington County Commissioners in the Purchasing Department. She also worked part-time for the City of Hagerstown. She was a member of Lifehouse Church (formerly Bethel Assembly of God) in Hagerstown, MD where she taught Sunday school for many years and served in Women's Ministries and Evangelism Explosion. Sue was also a member of the Potomac Garden Club in Williamsport, MD. Sue is survived by her caring husband of 35 years, James Schlossnagle; a daughter, Melissa N. Traber and husband, Michael; a son, Mark D. Nicholas and wife, Laci all of Fredericksburg, VA; stepsons, James M. Schlossnagle and wife, Kami, of Fort Worth, TX and Jeffrey A. Schlossnagle and wife, Rene, of Hampstead, NC; a sister, Brenda Kidd and husband, James, of Harrisonburg, VA, and her loving grandchildren, Nicholas, Noah and Nathan Traber; Ally and Addy Nicholas, Hope Schultz; Jackson and Kati Schlossnagle; Peyton and Jake Schlossnagle. She is also survived by Melissa and Mark's father, Jack D. Nicholas and wife, Barbara, of Culpeper, VA. The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock on Wednesday at Lifehouse Church, 515 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD with the Rev. Jeff Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at 3 o'clock in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, 3289 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
